What is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (CLNC)?

A CLNC is a registered nurse who has successfully mastered the rigorous training program by the pioneer in the legal nurse consulting industry, Vickie Milazzo Institute. A CLNC is specially trained to consult with attorneys on medical-related issues. They have the expertise to quickly pinpoint and interpret medical and nursing issues in any case involving health, illness or injury.

What is the difference between a CLNC and a Nurse Paralegal?

A CLNC focuses on nursing and medical issues. A nurse paralegal concentrates on the legal issues, which may prohibit an in-depth analysis of the medical issues.

Why use a CLNC when I can use an medical doctor?

We can provide an initial screening to help you determine whether the case has merit before you retain an expensive MD. Attorneys generally agree that using both an MD and a CLNC gives them the best result and saves everyone involved time and money.
